La Vieja Habana Maduro Celebracion
Drew Estate has finally introduced the second incarnation of their incredibly popular La Vieja Habana line. To get everyone up to snuff who's never tried or heard of them, LVH are not "flavored" or "infused" like most other Drew Estate cigars. Better yet, they're not nearly as expensive either. This line has had a loyal following for years and until now, sported only a Corojo wrapper.
OK, now that we're all on the same page, Drew Estate just launched the LVH line in three additional wrappers and a couple extra vitolas. Along side the Corojo is a Connecticut, Cameroon and Maduro version. As always, twenty cigars are packed in loose tobacco and displayed in a decorative box. Unlike before, these sticks are now individually cellophaned.
If you click on the big version of the picture to the left, you can't help but stare in awe over a Maduro wrapper that is dark and oily. The La Vieja Maduro is rich and smooth with a hint of sweetness.
