There is a rumor that East Frisia once has been a tea growing area. This is of course not true since the prevailing climate and soil conditions are absolutely inappropriate. However, East Frisian teas have gained a high reputation and popularity over the years. This blend is a nice example of those black to golden large leaved qualities with their slightly earth scent and strikingly spicy and malty aftertaste.
