This is the best "traditional" cigar being made by Drew Estate. These are not infused or flavored with anything beyond the natural tobacco. Here's how Drew Estate describes this cigar.....A carefully balanced blend of well aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos wrapped in a fine, San Andreas Maduro wrapper. It is an ultra smooth, naturally sweet and deliciously creamy smoke. Refined and elegant, it is the epitome of the relaxing cigar". All this is true, but what they forget to mention is how oily and toothy this maduro wrapper really is. The construction is nothing short of perfect and although these cigars are extremely firm to the touch, smoke pours out with almost no effort. The draw may even be little too loose, but it's really not a problem when you consider the slow burn. Drew describes the flavor as "naturally sweet". This is absolutely true, but the most noticeable flavor is cedar. I'm not sure how long Chateau Real has been aged, but the cedar is very prominent. The cedar flavor lasts throughout, but the complexity and spice kick in about half way down to keep seasoned smokers enticed.
